This is the Enterprise Architecture (EA) site of the 'Institute For Enterprise Architecture Developments' (IFEAD)

IFEAD is a not for profit research and information exchange organization working on the future state of Enterprise Architecture. Founded in 2001 by our chairman of the board Jaap Schekkerman, Thought Leader in Business Technology Strategy & Enterprise Architecture.

IFEAD is today one of the most important sources of information related to Enterprise Architecture and working in close relationship with universities and other research organizations. The goals and objectives of IFEAD are doing research & development about the future state of Enterprise Architecture and sharing a continuous flow of relevant information with all interested in the areas of Enterprise Architecture. Several publications and books are developed under the auspices of IFEAD and brought in the public arena.

This site is the information exchains area of our institute and explains more about the growing importance of Enterprise Architecture and Enterprise Architects in the Virtual Digital World of Organizations, Business and Technology and contains several articles, references, standards and methods supporting the Enterprise Architect as well as Best Practices and News about related topics.

Our logo presents the areas of people, process, business & technology, while the core reflects at a holistic way the natural cohesion of Business & Technology.

IFEAD's Goals & Objectives

IFEAD is founded to serve the growing community of enterprise architects, with research and knowledge exchange about the latest developments in the areas of Enterprise Architecture. IFEAD is using an open publication policy in publishing our work and ideas on our site.

IFEAD is working close together with other research organizations, institutes and universities. IFEAD have partnerships and alliances with several other organisations.
